30 day labour warranty as standard on all work carried out, warranty only covers works carried out.
If a customer supplies a part then labour only will be covered by the warranty.
Services / Repairs
All services are subject to a minimum labour charge of £30.
Diagnostic and standard labour is charged at £40 per hour and is subject to a minimum fee of £30. Charges will be rounded up to the nearest 15 minutes.
In the event the Operating System (i.e. Windows, Mac OS etc.) has to be reinstalled through hardware failure or software issues, the customer will need to supply the original installation / restore disk and the appropriate license keys or activation codes. Failure to do so may result in the repair not being completed. In this event the customer will still be liable for the cost of repair. Updates are not installed as standard and will have to be requested prior to the start of the repair.
You authorise Jackson Computer Solutions to accept any software end-user licence agreements on your behalf as required to complete the repair process.
As part of the inspection and repair process, it is possible for some parts to become cracked or broken due to age or design and as such you agree that Jackson Computer Solutions cannot be held responsible for said breakages.
Jackson Computer Solutions reserve the right to refuse service on any equipment and will not work on any item which has been damaged by a bio-hazard, examples are but not limited to urine or vomit.
No call out charge is within 10 miles of Tewkesbury town centre. Distances greater than 10 miles will be subject to a mileage charge of £1 per mile (e.g. 14 miles will have a mileage charge of £14) maybe incurred and this is at the discretion of Jackson Computer Solutions.
In the event of a missed appointment you will be charged a mileage charge of £1 per mile plus £10 admin fee, unless you have made rea-sonable efforts to rearrange your appointment, with at least 60 minutes notice. These charges apply to all appointments including within 10 miles of Tewkesbury.
It is your responsibility to back-up software, data, information and/or other files stored on your computer’s disks or drives. You acknowledge and agree that Jackson Computer Solutions are not responsible at any time for any loss, altera-tion or corruption of any software, data, or files.
Jackson Computer Solutions is an authorised AVG/Avast reseller and as such issues arising from the use of AVG/Avast products other than general support need to be raised directly with AVG/Avast.
Jackson Computer Solutions accepts no responsibility for any loss of data, faults or issues as a result of the use Avast Business CloudCare.
Jackson Computer Solutions will not be held responsible for any lost data, loss of amenity or earnings as result of the ser-vices offered.
Jackson Computer Solutions is not responsible for any of your legal obligations or requirments relating to the content or information held on websites constructed or designed by us.
Jackson Computer Solutions cannot be held responsible for your data and it is strongly recommended that your data is backed up prior to repair.
In the event of Hard Disk Drive failure data recovery can be attempted at a additional charge, however there are no guarantees to what data can be recovered and there is always the risk the data maybe corrupt.
Your data will be treated with the upmost respect and we will not copy or open any of your files unless we have strict instructions to do so by the customer.
